Your birth experience matters — and so does how you feel while living it. Feeling informed, supported, and truly seen can change the way you experience birth.

Before birth even begins, my goal is to build a relationship rooted in trust, transparency, and genuine connection. I want you to feel fully supported, deeply heard, and comfortable coming to me with any questions, concerns, hopes, or fears as we prepare for your birth experience together. Every family is different, and I believe your care should feel personal, collaborative, and centered around your unique needs.

Prenatal Visits
Our prenatal visits are a space for connection, preparation, and support as you move toward birth. Together, we’ll explore your hopes and preferences for labor and postpartum, discuss your options, build a birth plan that feels aligned with you—covering everything from pain management options to immediate skin-to-skin contact—so your care team clearly understands your wishes, and talk through advocacy, comfort measures, and anything else that may arise along the way. We’ll also spend time on childbirth education so you can feel informed, empowered, and more confident navigating the many possibilities of labor, birth, and early postpartum. These visits are also an opportunity for your partner or support team to feel informed, included, and confident in how they can best support you during labor and birth.

Beyond birth itself, we’ll build a thoughtful postpartum plan that includes practical support, meal preparation, and trusted local resources for lactation and newborn care. Most importantly, this space is always open for honest conversations about fears, questions, and anxieties, so you can move into birth feeling reassured and deeply supported.

Continuous Labor & Birth Support
When labor begins, I’ll join you at your chosen birthplace and provide calm, continuous support throughout your experience. I offer physical comfort techniques, emotional reassurance, grounding presence, and guidance for both you and your support team as labor unfolds. Whether that looks like helping you find relief through movement and positioning, creating a peaceful environment, encouraging rest and nourishment, or simply reminding you of your strength and birth goals, I’ll be there to support you every step of the way.

One aspect of doula support many people don’t initially think about is support for partners and loved ones, too. I help create space for them to rest, eat, ask questions, process emotions, and stay connected so they can be fully present with you throughout your birth experience. I remain with you through labor and for up to two hours after your baby is born, supporting those first tender moments of bonding, feeding, and transition.

First Postpartum Visit
Our first postpartum visit is a gentle space to check in, process your birth experience, and support your transition into life with your new baby. We’ll talk about how you’re feeling physically and emotionally, answer questions that may have come up after birth, and provide support with feeding, recovery, newborn care, and adjusting to your new rhythms as a family. My hope is for you to feel cared for not just during birth, but in the days and weeks that follow as well.
